Looking Back on 2024

The other day, I saw the news that "Kanji of This Year" in 2024 has been decided as "金". As you know, “Kanji of This Year” is an event held every year at Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto, where 1 letter of kanji representing the social situation of the year is announced. Also, this event is hosted by The  Japan Kanji Aptitude Test(漢検).   Whenever this season comes around, there is something that always bothers me. If Kanken announces "Kanji of This Year", shouldn't Eiken also announce an "Alphabet of This Year"? I think it is unfair that only kanji gets the spotlight every year. So, I would like to introduce my "Alphabet of This Year". My "Alphabet of This Year" in 2024 is " L ". Because I l eft my hometown of Toyama. I started l iving alone for the first time.   Good evening. There have been many rain days recently, how are you doing? At times like these, I feel like eating hot dishes. So today I'd like to introduce you to some dishes I've made recently. Cook Do®'s Sichuan Style Mapo Tofu It's a little spicy but very delicious. The tofu is shattered, but I don’t care.   Keema curry I made it while following   this recipe . It's very easy, so please give it a try. Nikujaga It was hard to heat the carrots and potatoes thoroughly. It takes about an hour to complete it.   It has been more than half a year since I started living alone, and I've gotten used to cooking for myself.
